About us

Hi, my name is Jenna. I am the owner of Nova Knits. I create hand dyed yarn out of the comfort of my home. I provide quality yarn to my community in Colchester, Nova Scotia.

I developed Nova Knits from the desire to learn how to Knit socks. I have been knitting since I was a child, and learned from my great-grandmother and grandmother. On my journey to sock making, I wanted to learn how to dye my own yarn for my projects. I quickly fell in love with the art, and the passion I felt during the dying process. Thus, Nova Knits was born.
